DIY Lavender Body Oil

You are sure to love this combination of soothing oil’s,
intoxicating lavender scent, the fabulous feeling on your skin.
This homemade multi-purpose body oil is wonderful to use everyday,
and extremely simply to make.

DIY Lavender Body Oil
Ingredients:
1 Cup of Organic Sunflower Oil
6 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil
½ Tablespoon of Vegetable Glycerin
A Drops of Vitamin E Oil
Instructions:
Whisk all of the ingredients together mixing well in a bowl.  Then simply pour into a bottle or two small bottles with tight fitting caps and shake well to blend before each use.
Directions:
Apply oil to your damp skin after a shower.
Tips:

  • This recipe makes approximately 8 ounces.
  • This handmade Lavender Body Oil would make a great Mother’s Day Gift, package with a lavender soap or lavender bath salts.
  • This oil is perfect to use all over the body, after showering, before your body moisturizer, and for body massages.
  • It is also great for use on the face, as a makeup remover.
  • Vegetable Glycerin acts as a natural preservative to extend the life of the oil.
  • The lavender scent will help calm anxiety and provide natural stress relief.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog.
Smiles, Paula

  3. Where do you find vegetable glycerin? Most of the products I wouldn't know where to go to to find.

  6. What other essential oils would you recommend for this? I am not a huge fan of lavender (don't judge me!) :)
