DIY Soothing Footbath

I am enjoying the wonderful relaxing feeling of a botanical footbath as I am typing with post.  It is a great feeling after a long day on my feet.  Here is the recipe with instructions so you can give it a try.
DIY Soothing Footbath
½ Cup of Sea Salt
4 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil
4 Drops of Rosemary Essential Oil
Rose Petals
Ingredients:
Fill the a footbath with enough warm water to cover your feet.  Stir in the sea salt until it is dissolved.  Then add the essential oils, mixing them well.  Toss in rose petals which will float on the surface.
To Use:
Soak your feet in the tub for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the water has turned cold.  Pat your feet dry with towel, follow up with foot lotion.
  • The warm water relaxes the ankles and feet.
  • The hot water warms cold feet while the vibrations relax the muscles, tendons and ligaments in the feet.
  • Clean, warm water in a footbath will do a wonderful job cleaning your feet. Feet are exposed to dirt and perspiration throughout the day. A footbath will remove unwanted dirt, perspiration, and cleanse your feet.
  • Follow up with Peppermint Foot Recovery by Natural Garden Soaps. Slather on this lotion generously at the end of a long day.

Time to dry off my feet, and Say Goodbye.
Smiles, Paula

  1. This sounds like heaven! Did you get your oils at a pharmacy? I have not seen that brand, but it appears they would have an assortment.
