Skin Benefits of Shea Butter

Your skin needs moisture to stay glowing, healthy, and youthful.  Shea Butter is the super moisturizer in skin care.

Shea butter is one of Nature's wonders given by God, and it is a special gift.  It has been used for years by African’s for skin care, and healing.  I include Shea Butter in many of my handmade soaps and lotions by Natural Garden Soaps.  Discover the secret of beautiful skin and find out what makes Shea butter so powerful to renew, repair and protect the skin against aging.

What is Shea Butter?

Shea Butter is found inside the nuts of the Karite Tree, which grows in west Africa. The nuts are traditionally harvested by women, crushed and boiled to extract the Shea butter.  Shea butter protects the skin from the sun and dehydration.  It is also wonderful to heal many skin problems, minor cuts and burns.

Shea butter helps the healing of skin disorders and problems like:

  • eczema
  • psoriasis
  • rash
  • dry skin
  • hives
  • insect bites
  • skin cracks
  • burns
  • minor cuts
