Smashed Pumpkin

Pumpkins are not just for carving or baking yummy pies; pumpkin is a rich source of nutrients and antioxidants that can help your skin attain a healthy glow all season long.  From facial treatments, handmade soaps and moisturizers pumpkin can be used in a variety of treatments at home or at the spa.

Pumpkin is chock-full of vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, potassium, alpha-carotene, zinc, beta carotene and enzymes.   Pumpkin enzymes can soothe and protect your skin; the basic nutrients can reach deep within your pores and absorb quickly.  Pumpkin offers plenty of benefits when applied topically to the skin, and that is why I included in my new "Smashed Pumpkin Pie Soap Bar" at http://www.naturalgardensoaps.com/

Try this fun and easy pumpkin facial recipe at home!
